A LITTLE ABOUT ME
My earliest memories of life are of the water—a baby bottle in one hand, a fishing pole in the other. I've grown up on and around boats my whole life, including a six-year stint in the Coast Guard Reserve as a search and rescue boat crewman. And to this day I still have salt water in my veins. I've even kayaked to work on several occasions. The water is where I get my inspiration. It's my happy place.
Dry land is nice too though (especially during small craft advisories). When on land, most of my waking hours are spent creating advertising concepts for a diverse array of clients in widely varying and often disparate industries, spending time with my family and cats, competitive skeet shooting, reading, talking like a 1930s detective and planning my next water excursion. I also serve as Marketing Chair on the Board of Directors of the Loch Raven Skeet & Trap Center (my second home).
(Of course, if you look to the bottom right, you'll see that one of the most amazing experiences of my life happened neither on the water or dry land. Strange...right?)
One of my favorite photos from the Kayak Cam.
Me at 18.
Shot my first 100 straight in skeet. Had my hat shot by some of Maryland's best shooters (after I beat most of them that day).
Zack.
One of the greatest experiences of my life, thanks to Air Combat USA.
